Okay, here’s my experience of applying for a Ukraine visa online:
So, I decided to take a trip to Ukraine, and I needed a visa. I did some digging around and found out that I could apply for it online.
First thing I did was head over to the Ukraine Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Seemed like the official place to start.

- I chose my country on the website.
- Then, I picked “Tourism” as my reason for visiting. Pretty straightforward, right?
- After that, I created an account on the site. Had to fill in the usual stuff like my name, email, and password.
Once I was logged in, I started the actual visa application process. I entered all my personal details like my passport info, travel dates, and where I planned to stay in Ukraine.
I had to upload a photo of myself. Made sure it was a recent one and followed all their size and background requirements. I also uploaded a scan of my passport’s data page. They needed that too.
Next, I paid the visa fee online using my credit card. Felt a bit nervous doing that, but it went through without any problems.
After submitting everything, I got an email confirmation. It said they were processing my application and I should expect an answer within a few days. So, I played the waiting game.
A few days later, I got another email. And guess what? My visa was approved! They sent me an electronic visa, an E-visa I guess, which I printed out.
All in all, it was a pretty smooth process. A few hiccups here and there, figuring out the website and all, but I managed to get my Ukraine visa without leaving my house. Pretty cool, huh?
