Well, I’ll be! You wanna know about gettin’ yourself a Palestinian passport, huh? Alright, listen up, ’cause I’m gonna tell you what I know. It ain’t as easy as pickin’ apples, that’s for sure.

First off, you gotta be a Palestinian, or at least have some papers sayin’ you live there. Like, a Palestinian ID card. And you gotta be at least 16 years old. No spring chickens allowed, ya hear?

Now, I heard tell you can go to about 53 countries with that passport without a visa, or you can get one when you get there. That’s pretty good, I guess. Beats havin’ to wait around for weeks. They say it’s the 91st best passport for travelin’ around, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, but all I care about is gettin’ from point A to point B.

So, how d’ya get this passport? Well, it ain’t like walkin’ into a store and buyin’ a loaf of bread. You gotta write ’em a letter, or an email, you know, one of them newfangled things. Send it to this address: consular@*. Tell ’em you want a passport. Plain and simple.

  • First thing, you gotta be a Palestinian citizen or have some papers showin’ you live there.
  • Second, you gotta be at least 16 years old. Don’t be sendin’ no babies for passports!
  • Then, you gotta send a letter or email to that address I told ya.

Now, some folks say you can go to 78 countries without a visa with this passport. I don’t know who to believe. Maybe it depends on when you’re askin’. These things change, you know, like the weather. One day it’s sunny, next day it’s rainin’ cats and dogs.

If you was born in Palestine, you can get a passport. Just show ’em your birth certificate. But what they mean by “Palestine” is a bit fuzzy. Seems like only folks livin’ in them areas run by the Palestinian Authority can get one. Don’t ask me why, that’s just how it is.

And don’t you go writin’ ’em a letter by hand, ’cause they won’t even look at it. They want it typed up all nice and neat. Fussy folks, I tell ya. And after you give ’em all the papers they want, it takes a good long while to get that passport. Could be three months, could be six months if you’re livin’ outside the country. So, don’t be in a rush.

They say if you live there for four years, speak Arabic, and ain’t caused no trouble, you can become a citizen. Seems fair enough. They got this old law from back in the Jordanian days, and it says everyone’s gotta be treated the same. No favorites, you know?

And that’s about all I know about gettin’ a Palestinian passport. It ain’t rocket science, but it ain’t a walk in the park either. Just follow the rules, be patient, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll get yourself that little book that lets you travel around.

Remember, this passport thing ain’t for everyone. It’s for Palestinians. So if you ain’t one, don’t even bother. And if you are one, well, good luck to ya. You’re gonna need it.
