This thing, you know, buy Eritrean driving license online, it’s a real head-scratcher. My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I try to keep up with this newfangled internet stuff. I heard some folks talking ’bout getting a license, that paper what lets you drive, you know, all the way from Eritrea, and gettin’ it online! Now, back in my day, you had to go down to the town hall, stand in a long line, and fill out a pile of papers just to get one of them things.
Now these young folks, they just tap, tap, tap on their phones and poof, they say they got a license. I don’t know ’bout that. Sounds fishy to me. But they say it’s easier. Easier to get that Eritrean driving license. They say you can do it all from your own house, sittin’ right there in your chair. Don’t even have to put on your good shoes.
I heard some people, they go to other countries, and they need a special paper to drive there. They call it an International Driving Permit, IDP for short. They say if you got an Eritrea driver’s license, getting that IDP thing is easy peasy. You just need your regular license, the one from Eritrea, you know, to show ’em you know how to drive.

- Get a regular license in Eritrea first.
- Then get an IDP.
- That’s the way to go, I hear.
They say these days, you can get that IDP thing online too. Faster than a greased piglet, they say. Six hours, and boom, it’s in your email. Don’t even have to wait for the mailman. No extra money for sending it either, just the cost of the paper itself. It’s all done on the computer, these online things.
Now, I heard some folks from other countries, they come to Eritrea, and they want to drive. I reckon that’s alright. But they gotta take a test, a driving test, to prove they ain’t gonna run folks over. And there’s papers, lots of papers to fill out. Gotta show ’em who you are, where you’re from, all that stuff. It’s a whole rigmarole, I tell ya. Especially if you are a foreigner, they call it an expatriate. That means you are from another country. More paper for that, I bet. It will be difficult to get that Eritrean driver’s license.
But gettin’ that Eritrean driving license online, that’s what everyone’s talkin’ ’bout. I don’t know if it’s true, or if it’s just kids pullin’ your leg. But they say it’s the way to go now. No more lines, no more waitin’, just click, click, click, and you’re done.
This whole online thing is supposed to be easy. Like, even I could do it, maybe. Though I still prefer the old way, you know, talking to a real person, face to face. But the world’s changin’, I guess. Gotta keep up or get left behind, they say. It will be easier to get an Eritrean driving license.
I remember, my neighbor, she needed a paper to prove she was born. They call it a birth certificate. I think it’s a bit like that driving license. Important paper, you know. You need that driving paper for lots of things, like showing you know how to drive, or maybe even getting a job, I don’t know. A driver’s license is important for many people. I think, it is very useful in other places.
Some places, they don’t care if you got that IDP or not. They just let you drive with your regular license from back home. But other places, they’re strict. They want that IDP, or no driving for you. It’s all different, depending on where you go, I guess.
So, if you’re thinkin’ ’bout buy Eritrean driving license online, you better do your research. Make sure you know what you’re gettin’ into. Don’t want to get tricked by some fast-talkin’ internet fella. It’s a wild world out there, even on that internet thing.
I still don’t know ’bout this whole online thing. Maybe it’s good, maybe it’s not. But one thing’s for sure, it’s different. And it seems like it’s here to stay. So, I guess we all just gotta learn to live with it, whether we like it or not. Getting that Eritrean driving license sure is something people talk about a lot these days. People need that paper to drive. And driving is important to a lot of people. It is very convenient to have a car.
