Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my driver’s license in Kuwait for a while now. It’s a bit of a hassle, you know, with all the appointments and stuff. I heard from some people that it’s possible to get one online, and at first, I was skeptical. I mean, can you really buy a Kuwait driving license online? But I was curious, so I decided to give it a try.
First, I started by doing some research. I found out that the GA Department of Driver Services has this online appointment system. It’s mainly for scheduling road tests, like for cars and motorcycles. I thought, “Okay, this doesn’t really help me buy a license online, but it’s good to know.”
Then I stumbled upon some information about the TLC Driver License requirements. It said that applicants need to complete some education stuff within 90 days of applying. Again, not exactly what I was looking for, but it was a piece of the puzzle. My search seemed to be going nowhere with a lot of useless information.

I also found a list of DMV locations near Minnetonka Ridgedale. It had their hours, address, phone number, and how to make appointments. This was totally irrelevant to Kuwait, but hey, I was on a roll with my research, even though it was leading me to different places.
My next find was about driving records in Colorado. Apparently, they keep records for seven years. This had nothing to do with buying a license online in Kuwait, obviously, but it was interesting, I guess. They had some tags like “Driver” and “Motor vehicle,” which didn’t help me much.
Feeling a bit lost, I decided to reach out to some friends who had recently gotten their licenses in Kuwait. A couple of them mentioned they went through an agency. They just gave them their details, paid some money, and boom, got their license without doing the test. I was a bit shocked. It didn’t sound completely legal, but it seemed to work for them.
So, I contacted one of these agencies. The guy I spoke to was pretty chill. He explained the whole process, the fees, and what documents they needed. It was surprisingly straightforward. I sent him my passport copy, visa page, and a photo. Then, I paid the fee, which was a bit high, but I was desperate.
After a few weeks, I got a call from the agency. They told me my license was ready! I went to their office, picked it up, and that was it. I had a Kuwait driving license in my hand, and I didn’t even step into a driving school or take a test.
It felt a bit unreal, to be honest. I still don’t know how they did it, but it worked. I’ve been driving around with it, and so far, no issues. It’s a bit of a controversial way to get a license, and I’m not sure if I’d recommend it to everyone. But for me, it was a lifesaver. I just wanted to share my experience, in case anyone else is in the same boat and considering this option.
So, yeah, that’s my story of how I ended up getting a Kuwait driving license online. It’s a bit of a wild ride, but it worked out in the end. Drive safe, everyone!
