Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Timor-Leste ID card thing. I heard it’s kind of a big deal if you wanna do anything over there, you know, like living, working, or just getting by. So I figured, why not try to get one and see what happens?

First off, I started digging around to see what this ID card is all about. Turns out, it’s like your golden ticket in Timor-Leste. You need it for just about everything: getting a place to live, opening a bank account, even getting a SIM card for your phone. It’s basically your proof that you exist in their system.
