So, I’ve been living in Myanmar for a while now, and I finally decided it was time to tackle the whole driving license situation. I heard all sorts of stories about how complicated it could be, but I was determined to get it done. Then, the big day – the actual driving test! I was a bit nervous, but I just focused on everything I’d learned. The examiner sat beside me and gave me instructions on where to go, what to do, you know, the usual. I made sure to follow all the rules, signaled properly, and drove smoothly.

If you’re a foreigner like me, just remember that you’ll need an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your original driver’s license. Make sure your IDP is valid in Myanmar. This is essential if you want to drive legally while your Myanmar license is being processed or if you are just visiting.
