I wanted to go to the Philippines, so I did the visa application thing. I’m not good with these things, so I did some digging online to figure it out.
First, I went to their official visa website. It looked kinda complicated, but I managed to find where to start a new application. I had to make an account with my email and a password. It was simple.
- Created an account on the visa site.
Once I logged in, I saw the form. Man, it had so many questions! I filled in my name, birthday, passport details, and all that stuff. They also asked about where I was staying in the Philippines and why I was going. I made sure to double-check everything because I didn’t want any mistakes. I found out they have a system where I submitted everything online.

- Filled out the online form with all my info.
- Submitted necessary documents such as passport scans and photographs online.
Next, I had to upload some documents. I scanned my passport and took a new photo that met their requirements. Uploading took a while, but I got it done. Then came the payment. It was a bit of a hassle to figure out which card to use, but I eventually paid the fee online.
- Uploaded my documents and paid the visa fee online.
After I submitted everything, I got an email saying they received my application. They said it would take 7-14 working days to process, but I also saw an option for faster processing in 3-5 days for extra money. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I chose the faster one. And then, I waited. I kept checking my email like crazy. Finally, after a few days, I got another email saying my visa was approved! It was such a relief. They sent me the visa as a PDF, and I printed it out.
- Waited for processing, which took about 4 days with the faster option.
- Received my visa via email and printed it.
So, yeah, that’s how I got my Philippines visa. It was a bit of a journey, but I did it all online, and it worked out in the end.
