This Trinidad and Tobago ID card, you know, it’s a big deal. Everybody needs one. It is said that many service providers, whether public or private, prefer to use ID cards as a form of identification. I heard that it is one of several products. I don’t know what other products are. You gotta have it, that’s what I heard.
If you’re from Trinidad and Tobago, born there, you need some things to get your card. They say you gotta have your birth paper, the original one. That paper says you were born, you know? That is necessary for applying for the ID card. If you ain’t got that, I don’t know how you gonna get your ID card. Gotta get that paper from the big office, the one that keeps all them birth papers.

I heard it’s a must to have a Trinidad and Tobago ID card, driver’s permit, or passport. If you’re from Trinidad and Tobago, you gotta have one of them. What if you from somewhere else? I don’t know what you need, maybe something else, but not these ones.
Now, if you wanna get one of these Trinidad and Tobago ID cards, it ain’t that easy. I hear they only give ’em to folks who can vote. That’s how they do it. And if you’re from one of them Commonwealth places, you gotta be 15 or older to get one. If you’re younger than 15, you ain’t gettin’ no card. They only give ’em to grown folks, or almost grown.
They say you can’t get a new card if you’re not in the country. So, if you live far away, you gotta keep that old card, even if it’s no good anymore. You gotta come back here to get a new one. They won’t send it to you, no sir. You gotta come here yourself to collect.
There’s a place, I think it’s called Woodford Street, number 80. It’s in Newtown, Port of Spain, that’s where they say you can go. They got a phone too, lots of numbers: +1-868-628-9330, 224-4875, then 1410 and 1260. They even got that WhatApp thing, the number is 367-0709. It’s a store, I think. They open every day except Sundays, I reckon. That’s where they talk about these ID cards.
I saw some folks selling ID cards from all over the place, not just here. They got all kinds of stuff from far away. And they say they can send it here to Trinidad and Tobago, cheaper than others. I don’t know how they do it, but that’s what they say. If you need them cards, maybe you can check them out.
They saying now they got a new kind of ID card here in Trinidad and Tobago. Some big office, called EBC, they made it. It’s new and shiny, I hear. They showed it off, and everybody’s talking about it. I don’t know what’s so special, but they say it’s better. I guess if you need a new card, you gonna get one of these new ones. They ain’t giving out the old ones no more.
Getting this Trinidad and Tobago ID card, it’s a whole thing, ain’t it? You need papers, you need to be old enough, you need to be here. It ain’t simple, but everybody needs one. It’s like your ticket to everything here. So, if you need one, you better start figuring it out. It ain’t gonna come to you, you gotta go get it.
This whole ID card business is confusing. But if you need to buy Trinidad and Tobago ID card, you just gotta ask around. People will tell you what to do. Don’t be shy, just ask. Someone will know. Maybe I ask around to see what else I can find out. This whole thing is a lot to remember, but I guess that’s just how it is.
If you have this card, you can go anywhere and do anything in Trinidad and Tobago. If you lose it, it’s like you are nobody. So don’t lose it, keep it in your pocket all the time, sleep with it, eat with it, don’t ever lose it. I don’t know what will happen if you lose it, maybe very bad things.
I heard that they change the cards. Old cards are not used anymore. You need to get a new one. If you don’t get a new one, you can’t do anything. It is very important to get a new card. New cards have new things. Maybe they are better, I don’t know. But new is always better than old, right?
So if you need to get this card, you know what to do. Go to that place, bring your papers, and get your card. Then you are good. You can live here, work here, do everything here. This Trinidad and Tobago ID card is your best friend, remember that.
